Scorch

I've really been enjoying this series. It has been pushing me outside my comfort zone, but the story is just so intriguing that I can't stop reading it. However, this book was a bit of a disappointment. I am relatively sure this series will be six books long, and this book was truly a filler book. It was slow. It was boring. It didn't have the same edge as the prior books, and frankly nothing much happened. That said, when one couple's story is spread out over so many books there is always inevitably one that falls short.
