this book kept me on my toes the whole fucking time, I mean like jaw dropped a few times. when I was least expecting it someone was getting stabbed or shit was burning to the grown. we have murder for hire MMC and takes no shit FMC, both absolutely hard headed and seemingly unwilling to fall in love. seeing them learn to love each other through this book was heart warming to max. Zuko had some major swoon worthy moments. this book is the epitome of a quick, easy dark romance read! the only thing I have to say negatively is something the writing got confusing? like had to reread parts because it felt it didn't flow but that may be a me problem as I read this in 2 sittings.
