In general, I liked this book, however there was a moment that made me feel uneasy.
Obviously age gap romances will always be a bit controversial, but normally I'm of the opinion that as long as it's two consenting adults, who cares.
But when it got to a part where it was talking about how Alice was an adult when Joy was born and how she held her when she was just a baby, idk, that creeped me out a bit ngl.
Other than that, I enjoyed this book despite the cancer plot line coming up out of nowhere and feeling like it was just thrown in there to resolve a conflict right at the end.
