S.E.C.R.E.T.

I read Judge awhile ago, and when I found Secret, I thought it was the same story. It kind of is. Where Judge had tension and the sick twist of the group self-punishing itself, I guess I'm feeling deja vu. The difference here is that I don't think the “secrets” are going to be interesting enough for me to hang in there. The characters have no depth or backstories. I honestly did not care when the first secret keeper was revealed here- mostly because I didn't remember who he was or why I should have cared about him. The focus seemed to be on the idol-wannabee. Sigh. I'd steer fans to Judge instead.
