So, one thing's for sure. Ally Carter cannot write a mentally unstable protagonist for the life of her. I've never been so annoyed at the redundancy of her thoughts or her inner dialogue because DAMN. It just kept on repeating over and over things that have been said /over/ and /over/. Every time someone says something she thinks to herself as if it's a snide comment, “they're wrong” every goddamn time. Stop. This. Please.
Also, that plot twist in the end I totally saw that coming like was it really that much of a shock? Anyways, I want to read the next installment just so I can finally find out why everything that happened, happened. I don't have any love for Alexei or Grace because they're both annoying and unnecessary to me. Jamie, though, is bae.
