Wendy Cope's first book of poems and parodies, Making Cocoa for Kingsley Amis, went straight into the bestseller lists. Its successor, Serious Concerns has proved even more popular, addressing such topics as 'Bloody Men', 'Men and Their Boring Arguments', 'Two Cures for Love', 'Kindness to Animals' and 'Tumps' (Typically Useless Male Poets).

don't really know how to rate this. You will love it if you have some idea what the poems are about but if you go in blind expecting something else you probaly won't like it. It delivers greatly on what it sets out to do
Sadly these poems weren't for me
I think they were a little too specific to British people, alcohol and bad men for my liking. I just couldn't relate to any of them.
The orange was a poem I randomly came across and loved so I decided to read the whole collection that it's from.
I liked a few others, but overall it was just okay. Some were funny, others cute. The number of ones about alcoholism was a little bit alarming ngl.
