Serpent Mage

This is the only book in the 7-book series Death Gate cycle that I did not particular like. It just did not impress me as much as the other books. The fourth world is also a well-crafted and creative world, especially the dangers that live in it. The new character plots regarding the peoples that live in this world are less engaging compared to the earlier three worlds. But nevertheless, book 4 is no place to stop reading this series. Book 5 will start tying the threads together.
