DNF at page ~140.

sigh I have no one but myself to blame. If I'd only read the cover copy instead of auto-buying, I would've known what to expect. But I didn't. I went in blind, and it was going so well up until the DNF point. I enjoyed the characters individually, and their repartee was excellent. I always have a soft spot for relationships that have epistolary elements. BUT then it all came crumbling down.

Funny, how the hero stealing every bit of the heroine's agency - WITH HER BEST FRIEND'S PERMISSION - can do that.

Marked as Put Aside Temporarily, since I might decide to come back to it when I'm in the right frame of mind and a particularly forgiving mood.
