Shadow Planet: Mission 1

This spin-off starts out a little darker than the original series, but it has the same solid world-building and storytelling, the same wit and occasional snark, and characters you want to root for (or against, in some cases).

Following a crew of mostly new(-ish) characters, you don't need too much of the orginal series' backstory to enjoy Shadow Planet.
