Shattered Pillars

The setting, the characters and the unique use of familiar elements make this book a great read. It is refreshing and wonderfully exotic in its locations and magic and races. Unique and yet familiar, I am enthralled with the world Elizabeth Bear has created and her elegant writing makes every sound, taste smell and vision come to life in the most enjoyable way. Looking forward to the conclusion in the next book.
