A fun prequel that introduces the NY characters and dogs that will be featured in the True Blue K9 series. The characters, April and Declan, were clearly understandable and sympathetic characters despite the shortness of the book. Storm the dog was my favorite, though, with her affinity for pink rubber balls with hearts on them!
