This book is rough, the content difficult to listen to. I will admit to only partly listening at times because... wow, sometimes I just couldn't get myself to immerse myself. That being said it is written very well and she does an amazing job narrating it. Books in verse or poetry is something I always seem to enjoy or... understand better when I listen to it rather than physically listen to it. 

So, it deals with tough topics– cw: rape, abuse, self-harm, drugs
But, it is a memoir, so I feel the topics are addressed as respectfully and as real as possible. Nothing negative is romanticized. It is just very, very honest.
