Siege of Darkness

This book is all about building up to the event where Menzoberranzan's army invades Mithril Hall. Unfortunately, the battle itself falls short of exciting. It just does not compare to the battle of Ten-Towns in the Icewind Dale trilogy. Part of the defense was manned by too much comic relief, giving it a not-so-serious feel. The action is still good as Salvatore can still write out good action sequences.
