What a fun adventure Laura Greenwood takes us in the finale of the “Return Of The Fae” series in Sight Of Change. This is Izzy's story and her search for safety and answers to her own questions dominates the story. Greenwood also throws in answers to questions that Izzy did not want answered (laugh).
The full-synopsis has this as a slow-burn romance, but I would list it more as a clean and sweet poly romance - yes that is possible as Greenwood proves time and time again (laugh). Greenwood concentrates on the personal growth of her characters not their bedroom high-jinks.
This is a quickly paced book. Most deep conversations happen off-page. Greenwood moves us through all of the emotional impact moments with speed. As I am typing this I am wondering if this was a problem for me? I think because I did not read the first three books, I want to stay in Greenwood's dystopian world. This can be read as a standalone and fully enjoyed. I think that is the problem (laugh). I want more.
I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
