Am I in love with JP Cane? Ha! He certainly thinks so . . . He's annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and having watched When Harry Met Sally is convinced that men and women can't just be friends. So when we have to fly to San Francisco for work and stay in the same penthouse, I'm happy to prove him wrong. Yet with his continuous flirting and his polished good looks, I'm soon finding it hard to sleep at night. But guess who can control herself? This girl. Because if there is one thing I know for certain, it's that JP Cane is wrong. Men and women CAN just be friends and we are SO not meant to be . . .

Gah. I HATE this one. I hate Kelsey so much. So very much. She's so insufferable and uninspiring and exhausting and judgemental and so many other things.
Furthermore, I just don't feel the connection between the two main characters. Zero chemistry. Did I mention I hate Kelsey? Yeah.
Meh.... it has cute parts, but I stopped at about 80%. I just couldn't force myself to finish it.
et's skip talking about how stupid and silly kelsey is, and the fact that jo couldn't understand that no, means no, at the start of the book, and let's appreciate three-chapters-later jp messing with kelsey till she was fuming 😂
i L A U G H E D so hard with this book, not even a not so meet cute made me laugh this hard, i guess kelsey's stupidity made it extra funny for me, sorry 😂
anyway, my poor baby jp 💔 i wanted to hug him so many times all throughout the book, because someone 👀 was so oblivious to him 🤦🏼♀️
anyway, it is a 4.5* but goodreads still hates me and doesn't let me add halves 🤷🏼♀️
