For some reason I had thought it was a thriller and it took me a while to understand it was a novel. That said, I understand it was the tale of growing up amidst richness and bleak society, and it was well told, right up to the point ehen Joanna and Hilta not only believed but supported Lindsey. Really? Hardly.
