I don't have a tween daughter (or a daughter of any age), but I can enthusiastically recommend Soprano Trouble for girls in that age group. Victoria Kimble does a wonderful job of crafting a story that captures the struggle of making good choices at that age, of standing up for right when it's the hard thing to do.
I like that the book promotes faith-based values. It seems like a lot of Christian fiction can be overly preachy or really kind of cheesy, but Soprano Trouble is none of that. It's well-written, and faith is an integral part of the story, not something just tossed in to make a point. And the lessons in the book can be applied well past the middle-grade years. I may not have daughters, but I'll be reading the rest of this series for myself
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own, and I don't say nice things about books I don't like.
