Soul Eater NOT!, Vol. 3

I haven't read the main serie, Soul Eater, so I guess I just did not understand this volume. I really enjoyed the first two mangas, they were fun and quick to read. But this?? Where was the main plot? Maybe it is just a “special content” volume?
