Spell on Wheels

This book is a bunch of Witches going on a road trip to get their stolen stuff back! This was fun and the characters had some nice depth to them. I'm kinda hoping this will continue on the kick-butt, solve magic crimes, road trip series path. I hope this continues with a few more books to explore world, magic concepts, and the friendships in the coven.

The colors and art are also nice is this book. ~Ashley

Cute, fun witch ladies! I wish things had been a bit more drawn out. I thought the resolutions were all too convenient and never really felt like anything was at stake. It all kind of seemed a bit thrown together. Not bad, just meh. Also – the art style of the book itself differs from the cover, just as a note to possible future readers.

Spell on Wheels follows a trio of roommate/best friend witches who get sent on a road trip to hunt down a mysterious villain after finding their home broken into and several valuables stolen. This was a really fun graphic novel that I enjoyed a lot - it's gorgeous, the characters are lovable, there's a lot of casual and thoughtful diversity, and the plot is engaging. There was a little something missing that kept this from being a perfect 5-star read for me, but I definitely still highly recommend picking up a copy! I was especially fond of the “Goatman” arc, and anyone else who thought the Beast was better before he turned back into a prince probably will be, too.
