Splat the Cat and the Pumpkin-Picking Plan

I have to admit that Splat the Cat is growing on me, as at first I was not quite a fan. The “Pumpkin=Picking Plan” is a great read for the fall season and pumpkin harvest time. Be it for just the fall overall, or Halloween, or Thanksgiving this is a good one to bring off your shelf for the early easy readers. First Splat experiences the enjoyment of jumping in a pile of raked leaves, until his mother sends him off on an errand to find the perfect front porch pumpkin.

Then off he goes, and the book transforms into the perfect precursor to a pumpkin patch field trip! All sorts of activities are mentioned and then of course in typical Splat style, chaos reins and he's off on a tumbling adventure...
