A question-and-answer format is ideal for people like me who are just learning about nature. Often people like me have the same sorts of questions about nature that I have.

This book takes on all the basic questions people have about the nature they see around them. I, too, wondered why birds migrate. I, too, was curious how long snails live and if they get slower with age. I, too, asked myself how squirrels find the food they cache.

A little cautionary warning, though, that this book focuses on the nature people in England see around them, in case you don't live in England.
