As far as I enjoy the humour and what happens to our character, there's no plot progression nor character development and I start asking myself if there's going to be any.
I absolutely adored this volume. It was funny as heck as we got to explore the world from Anya's, Becky's, and Bond's perspectives. I especially loved watching Becky lose all sense and sensibility as she hilariously tries to usurp Yor as wife of the family. This was one of my favourite volumes thus far with laughs aplenty.
Happy to see as many silly and adorable moments as action ones in this volume. Still completely sleeved out by school friend Becky's obsession with Anya's dad, not that the secret agent Frost's obsession is any less cringeworthy. Yor being a badass more often than a doofus and Anya being a perceptive riot is what saves these books in terms of female rep.
