This is a tips, strategy and walkthrough guide to Personal Computer (PC), IBM format video game 'Star Wars: X-Wing'. There are screenshots of the game, excerpts of screenshots for the different vehicles, CGI artwork, and images from the movie all of which are gray-scale images. There is a description of each mission, a overhead radar like map, as well as a narrative story for most missions. DeMaria the author of this book also wrote a companion book packed with the game titled, "The Farlanders Papers" much of the story elements of the book are reprinted from that book. There are also fictional biographies of characters not seen in the game, but famous from the movies, descriptions of the ships, and how they are used, in the game and story information about them. There are statistic tables on the differences between the ships, and types of attacks they use. Near the end of the book there is a making of section with biographies of the makers game, most of which have gray-scale photographs of the person, and an interview between DeMaria, Larry Holland, and Edward (ED) Kilham, including a photo of all three of them at the end of the interview. The cover illustration is by Martin Cameron.
