WHAT. A. RIDE. Exceptionally engrossing and super stressful! Somewhere between sci fi action, murder mystery and domestic thriller. Lots of interpersonal drama in between interplanetary intrigue and political machinations. As with Six Wakes, author excels at creating complex characters with nuanced friction between them. Didn't see the big reveal coming! Pacing, multiple POVs, exposition & flashbacks all handled masterfully.  ⚠️ Psychological and physical abuse by family members
