Why?

Against my better judgement, and not liking enemies to lovers, and because I liked the idea of the play as a backdrop, I grabbed this freebie.

It started off fairly well, with lite-enemies to lovers vibes then dumps the drama of Jem's sister on us, quickly followed by Jem misunderstanding everything Dawson says and does. It started too be a little too much, but what really pulled the plug with this story for me was the fact that there is nothing I find redeemable about Jem, he's an utter ass all the time to Dawson and I am not here for his self pity.

I cannot stand him and I know Dawson could do much better.
