Hmmm.

All in all a nice story, although I'll have to admit I didn't care much for the main character in the beginning. Or for her supposedly best friend. They both came across as rather shallow and selfish.

Also, I could have done without the whole Lindsay-drama (but that's just me, I'm not big on drama), although it did work well with Jessica finally growing up.

I did like the supporting cast of characters (especially Dad and his family).

Another round of proof-reading would have gone a long way - there were so many editing leftovers and typos, missing or wrong words that it was distracting from the story.

I am sorry that my review sounds a lot more negative than it should, because I did like the story. I also like the author's humour, and I will read more of her books.
