Sworn to the Shadow God

Loving this series!!

I've spent the last week getting to know Aos and its pantheon and I can't get enough! I loved Max and Rhagos together and am surprised how much heart and, ahem, HEAT Death has. I was worried about whether I could enjoy Rhagos as the Aspect he is in this book. Yes, it's frustrating but I feel like that's the point. His actions and thoughtfulness still shine through and make you want to keep him around. I love that Faith and Yulenna are still a part of this story! I'm so looking forward to what's in store for Kassam!

This was a fun read, but I did enjoy the first more. I wasn't the hugest fan of Max, but she grew on me. I give her a lot of slack about things that happened, because realistically her actions make sense for being dropped into a world she knows nothing about.
I had wondered how this type of aspect could be written and it was an interesting ride. Rhagos was also cool, I had hoped we would get his book next.

I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait for the next!
