Absolutely GORGEOUSLY bound book of 12 fairytales - Albert immerses you in an alternate world that you won't want to leave. This book is truly an aesthetic piece, but the writing is the cherry on top of what looks like a decorative book. I enjoyed reading it just as much as I enjoy showing the book off in my apartment lol.
I loved the Hinterland series so had to snatch this up when I saw it held the dark tales mentioned in the books. I love dark fairy tales and man did these fit the bill. They are creepy, gory, and freaky and have lessons buried deep in the story if you care to find them. This is also a gorgeous hardcover with beautifully scary and dark illustrations throughout.
