- It's very easy to read.
- The central concept is cute and the ending is heartwarming.

- Lgbt+ Republicans also baffle me.
- The way the MC, Chris, is dealing with his grief feels realistic to me.

Neutral:

- The Christmas setting is present but it doesn't take over the story
- It's very short.
- I'll leave it to a trans reviewer to talk about the trans content. Chris's initial reaction was bad, but he knew that, and the narrative directly addressed it.

Cons:

- This author needs a proofreader.
- I don't like some of the humor, although there's an obvious effort to be as inoffensive as possible.
