Ten Dates

Ten Dates

I would like to thank Boldwood books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book follows the story of Alice, who suffered a car accident and forgot her last two years of life. Unfortunately, those were also the years when she fell in love and started living with her brother's best friend Callum.

What I liked about the book:
- the premise is not new but the the story was really sweet and I was rooting for both characters HEA.
- Callum was the sweetest. It was touching to see his love for Alice and see all his efforts to reenact their ten dates to make Alice fall back in love with him.
- It was interesting to read both perspectives and see how they were both dealing with the loss.

What I think it could have been done better:
- The characters could have been a bit more developed.
- Alice insecurities in the end of the book felt a bit forced. She loved Callum since they were kids, it didn't make much sense to attribute her feelings and desires to the accident. I also didn't consider very realistic to just quit if all the pieces didn't fit together after the dates. Their lives were too e intertwined to do that and just move on.
- This story deserved an epilogue for us to have a glimpse of their life in the future.

Overall a very entertaining and sweet story. Recommend for contemporary romance readers.
