Infuriating immature heroines are a landmark of a regency romance and this one was no different. St. John really had his work cut out for him. I like the little side story about Rock though, bless him.
More like 3.5 stars, not quite as good as the first one in the series for me, but still worth reading. I love Rock (not least because I kept picturing him as Dwayne Johnson in my head). I just like the society drama a bit more than the rural stuff.
I wasn't as into this one as I was the first novel.
I did see how the couple came to like each other, but from the conflict on, I just wasn't into it. They made mistakes and did things that I wasn't interested in anymore.
I definitely will read the next book since I like the heroine, then I might take a break from historical romance again.
