I enjoyed book 1 in this series that I just couldn't wait to revisit Port Snow and the Knightly family. This book revolves around Rogan and his high school sweetheart Harper. The two were best friends, then lovers and eventually engaged. We don't know the reason for their breakup until pretty far into the story, but Harper's back in town and both are realizing that they never fell out of love.

I really enjoyed the banter between the Knightly siblings and Rogan/Harper. The whole reason for the breakup was a twist I didn't see coming and it just made the story so much better. And since it's the holiday season it was a nice touch for Harper to get a job with “Lovemark” as they make a movie in Port Snow.

The narration of William LeRoy and Reese Covington was solid. While I sometimes cringed at some of the voices they used, overall, I was happy with their performances. Their pacing was great and the performance filled with emotion. I'd gladly listen to either of these narrators again.

I can't wait for the next book in the series.
