I thoroughly enjoyed this and it was so nice to see some aspec rep!
The characters both have very good chemistry and the scenes are just top tier!!!

I loved the hell out of this book.
I loved their story and how they just naturally fit together despite perceived societal differences.
Rae's real name and Zach's reaction to it were priceless.
I also loved how he was able to open up about his demisexuality
(I'm also biased cause I love everything Talia writes)

Ik heb deze liever gelezen dan het vorige boek.
Op een of andere manier voelde het echter aan? Al voelde het voor mij wel alsof er iets niet helemaal snor zat met de basis. Onze hoofdpersonages worden geïntroduceerd als emotioneel niet beschikbaar en ze staan niet open voor een relatie, maar toch komt deze er vrij snel. Akkoord, dit is het ganse punt van dit boek, het romantische verhaal, maar toch, het feit dat de geïntroduceerde terughoudendheid vrij snel opzij wordt geschoven zorgde ervoor dat ik het niet meteen geloofde en namen we wat uit het verhaal.

Dit gezegd zijnde, Talia Hibbert is wel een meester in het creëren van complexe en interessante personages, die ook geloofwaardig met elkaar interageren. Hun zelfreflectieve reizen waren echt goed geschreven, al had dit ook gebaat geweest van wat meer ontwikkeling.
Ondanks mijn bedenkingen was dit toch een goed afgeronde roman en toonde het de kracht van de auteur in het creëren van personages en het schrijven van emoties.

Nog een pluspunt is dat ik nog een serie uit mijn te lange lijst kan afvinken!
