This is so freaking awesome & ingenious.
A slime as the main character.
I never thought I enjoy this novel so much, it was astounding in all effects.
Writing is good, the characters are awesome. The story is pretty much amazing.
The simple and small details are also awesome as heck.
To define the plot basic:
A 37-year-old guy gets killed and reincarnated as slime, and he makes an alliance with a dragon, helps goblins, visit hot elves & genius dwarves and build a Goblin Village. How a shapeless slime monster did all this, is the awesome sauce!
One of the more interesting “isekai” anime series I've watched. Decided to read the manga to see what's different. For starters, the manga's pacing is a lot faster than I expected; lots of claims that the anime skipped a lot of things, yet so far, the anime actually gave more elaborations than the manga.
The story is about a middle-aged guy who somehow got himself somewhat accidentally reincarnated as a slime monster in a somewhat stereotypical fantasy world (complete with humans, elves, dwarves, goblins, etc.). It takes the route of an OP protagonist, as he starts off with the benefit of incredible skills. The first volume details how he learned to cope with his new existence, learning about this new world, befriended a mighty creature, and somehow ended up as a leader of a bunch of monsters. All in a sort accidental comedic way. Very fun start.
