The Adventures of Charls, the Veretian Cloth Merchant

Charls was so incredibly clueless about Damen's disguise, it was adorable! We got to see, from Charls's perspective, Laurent's ascension as the king of Vere in this short story as well, which was something I didn't know I needed until I read it. Reading those small glimpses of Charls seeing Damen and Laurent's interactions, and witnessing how deeply in love the two of them are with each other was so heartwarming. The ending, though I wish it was a bit longer to see Charls's entire reaction during the last scene, was near perfect as well.
