I love a good murder mystery being solved by amateur detectives. This book was decent: a fun read with unexpectedly diverse characters but not too much depth or intrigue. Definitely not the psychological thriller of Ripper by Isabel Allende. I found the characters a little unbelievable and was a little confused by how old the main and minor characters were. I was also pretty icked by how many adults wanted to have relationships with these teenagers but (no spoilers) it also ends up being a main plot point.
