The Berlin Wall

The Berlin Wall

2006 • 512 pages

This is one excellent book! Well-researched, and narrated with a passion that keeps you glued to the pages as if it were a story you just started to read, even if you are of the generation that witnessed part of those those events, who lived in those eighties when the monster came tumbling down.
To a genX like me, the Wall is part of my own history, of my own culture (Pink Floyd anyone?), and yet, so much was there to know, things that papers and books didn't tell us back then.
And those who came after us should really read and discover what WAS about this barrier that marked with blood and despair the postwar Europe until the end of the 80s!
