Oh my god. Maybe because I'm in my 30s I found this whole plot and characterisation flat and overdramatic and themes really immature. I had to physically push myself to finish this drivel.

The main character was completely unlikeable. How much cussing can one character do? I thought I was okay with it, but lady, you're 31, grow up. So an ex ghosted you. My gosh, pulling your hair out for 60 pages over it. She supposedly works to build her grandfather's business but I didn't see much work being done, mostly Facebook stalking and swearing.

You know how characters assure you that they're good, nice people but you never see that in action? This book was 390 pages of that.

Every amateurish mistake in creative writing was committed in this book and its editing of language and plot made it difficult to enjoy. The author was probably going for a YA or MG type of rating in plot but the extensive and unnecessary angry swearing put it firmly in the cringey-adult-romcom-drama category.

It was a horrid book from start to finish. Get a better editor and don't say your characters are in their 30s when they act 15.
