The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum

Jason Bourne, a deep cover secret agent, found on sea-shore with a head wound. He has no memories of the past. The doctor, who treated him in small island, found a bank numbered account implanted in his body.

This numbered account lead him to Switzerland, and unfolding his true identity. It is a GREAT spy thriller, a book of Trio.

Much better than the movie - in fact, if you've seen the movie you have no idea what the whole story is!

“The Bourne Identity” by Robert Ludlum falls short of the mark for a few reasons. Firstly, the plot is convoluted and hard to follow, leaving the reader confused and disinterested. Additionally, the characters lack depth and fail to elicit any emotional investment from the reader. The action scenes are predictable and lack tension, making the novel feel formulaic and uninspired. Overall, “The Bourne Identity” fails to deliver a gripping and satisfying read, making it a forgettable addition to the espionage thriller genre.

An epic modern classic. While I loved the movies, the book is SO much better! I loved the action and the puzzle to figure out, but especially I loved how much better a role Marie has. She's brilliant and plays a huge role in the final outcome. What better partner could a cornered spy ask for than this ultra-professional, feminine, rock-solid-loyal lady?

Content: lots of swearing, especially in the second half. Mostly profanity until the last third, and then some nasty vulgarities
