The Burning

The Burning - Karina has a lot of internal dialogue and most of it isn't very exciting. I was hoping Karina would get more interesting but she didn't. Now her brother.. That was a story I could get behind. What did get better was the romance between Karina and Kael and what the heck is up with her roommates marriage?

I thought the Mendoza storyline was one of the better parts of the book and was done really well. I can see the author was more confident in her writing in this book but I am not really a fan of Karina's.
