The Butcher and His Boy

The Butcher and His Boy

This to me felt more like an accompanying novella to nightingale, than a romance in and of itself, if that makes sense. I felt like the priority of the story was just additional context than the romance between these two characters.

Bayani definitely had enough complexity to make a full length book for himself, and i feel like that would have been better. He reminded me a lot of Giovanni from the same author. Felt like a lot of wasted potential.

Also I just didn't enjoy the third person pov narration. Usually I don't mind but this one I particularly didn't like the pov.
