Thanks to the author for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review for this blog tour with R&R Book Tours.

This is my first book by this author and it was a nice surprise. We all know I love my romance and I have read several sports romances but I have never read a romance with this particular sport. UFC fighting is something I know pretty much nothing about but after reading the synopsis I was intrigued so I agreed to review it.

I have to admit at first I didn't think I was going to enjoy it because the first 25% of it was all about martial arts but as soon as the romance entered the story I was hooked. The entire story was about martial arts but the author wrote it in a way that made it so someone like me who knows absolutely nothing could understand what was going on and I never felt bored with it. Of course I was all for the romance though so the fact that this was more about the sports than the romance was a little bit of a bummer for me but that is personal preference.

I think this book could have benefitted from multiple POVs. We get Eden's POV which is great but there were times especially in the end where I wish I would have had Brooklyn's POV because I really wanted to know why she did what she did after being so adamant about not doing it. As for the romance itself I feel like it was a little rushed. Don't get me wrong I still loved it but I feel like the book could have benefitted from being a little longer.

Overall I really enjoyed this book and would consider reading other books by this author in the future. If you love sports romance than you should definitely give this book a try even if UFC fighting isn't your thing.
