I LOVE the covers this author uses for her books. They are such a nice change of pace to the usual half-naked man or woman scenario. This one is very pretty. A great representation of the book. Great use of graphics. Fantastic composition.

I don't really have much to say about this one. It was OK, but I didn't enjoy it as much as book one. It dragged a lot for me in places. I also wasn't a huge fan of the setup. I thought Nick's reasons for leaving Emmy were lame. The fact that he didn't bother to look for her at all in nine years but still claimed to be SO in love with her was lame. The fact that he slept with OW even saying the spot where his wedding ring should have been would burn when he did sleep with OW, and he felt like he was betraying his wife, yet continued having sex with other women was lame. Thankfully the heroine wasn't pining for him and moved on to sleep with OM and even have a live-in relationship. Kudos to the author for THAT at least.

All that aside the writing was still good. I enjoy this author's writing style it reminds me of KA without being a straight up copy. The mystery part kept my attention and the sex scenes were fairly hot. It was nice to see the couple from book one as well. So like I said, it was OK overall.
