Best presentation of video game history (pre-games through 2000) I've yet encountered.
I enjoyed this one, and it justifiable weaved a lot of interesting details in on the history of computing, I would have liked to see more of a focus on the designers, story tellers and artists who create video game. The book over indexed on the technical aspects of video game computation.
Обложка оригинального издания довольно унылая, но комикс вышел интересным и полезным. Вроде столько в игры играю, слежу за новостями, но все равно узнал для себя что-то новое.
Начинается чуть ли не с изобретения электричества, но заканчивается Майнкрафтом. Даже нет колды и сессионок, что для меня было минусом. Много разбирают доисторические игры и мало современные, но вообще хороший комикс.
