This was my second time reading the book because I made a vow to finish the series I have on my shelf. I had the second book ready but never opened it out of its packaging for years since I bought it. So yea, this is more of a refresher and seeing if I really want to continue or just give up on them to clear some shelf space.

In the end, I decided to continue. The best thing for me about this book is definitely the writing. I think it reflects the pacing of the scenes and almost feels like a background music, idk. As for the plot, I don't feel like there's a main plot, so I'd say this is a character development type of series maybe. I'm most interested in Thalia, and am curious to see what would become of her relationship with Marith.
