I thoroughly enjoyed this dark academia novel, which masterfully blends MM and FM spice with a gripping vampire narrative. The story is steeped in dark gothic elements, including torture and murder, making it a captivating read from start to finish. A. J. Church, a new author to me, has crafted a haunting tale that left me eager to explore more of her work.

The novel concludes in a way that defies typical expectations, offering a refreshing change. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys vampires, steamy scenes, and dark smutty scenes. Be aware that it includes a list of triggers at the beginning, as it delves into some darker themes.
