The Crystal Cave

A pretty boring book overall. Got through about half of it on Audiobook and couldnt bring myself to finish it. Merlin feels like a really flat character. I'm not sure if the author intentionally made him this way because he isn't a normal human and is supposed to be above normal human emotion, but it made the book really anticlimactic without any highs and lows for the character which would typically makes a character really relatable and lovable and gets you really into a book because you feel the emotions they are feeling and what to go through the experiences with them.
