This is totally unfair because if I hadn't have bought books one and two together, I would never have even thought about reading this one. I tried, but it was almost as unappealing for me as the first one and I'm getting strong vibes of lifting a plotline almost wholesale. The truth is, I really disliked the first book and had no business even attempting to read this one. (At least it's out of my hair now.)

My guess is, if you liked the first one, you'll like this one.
