I can't believe that this trilogy is over. 😭 Since book one I have been in love with both Dante and Eve. I could happily read twelve books completely focused on this couple. 💓 That said, I've got my fingers crossed a few of the secondary characters are whispering their stories in Catherine's ear and there will be more story to come for everyone. 🔜
So deets...This is the third book in so it will come as no surprise that I again say that the writing was fantastic. It was well paced. The plot remained intriguing. It was full of twists and turns. It was dark. It was angsty. It was bloody. 🔪 It was sexy. Dante will have you wanting to dick punch him one minute and wanting to kiss it better the next. 👄🙈 Eve remained a strong and feisty heroine. There was a strong cast of secondary characters. I enjoyed the little glimpses of backstory that enlightened us to how Dante and Joseph became friends. Anna was on my shit list for a while, but she worked her way back into my good graces. And Rick...sleazy Rick. I loved him...he needs a book. As does Roman. 👀
Of course, as with all three of these books there wasn't any OW drama. I appreciate an author that can write a fantastic series without including crazy OW and ad nauseam mentions of the hero's prior sex life. 🙌 Last, it was all wrapped up in a sweet and satisfying ending. 💞
So ya, I was sad to see this series end but I have the hope there will be more to come! 💑
