DotD follows Roma and Leviathan to the point where their paths cross. Was I expecting romance (as I always do)? Yes. Did I get any? No, and I still loved it.

It's quite the book specilaly because of all the hardships the characters are put through, but I can't wait to see where the fate will lead them, specially Roma. Her story already starts brutal and as the book progresses it all just clicks together. The slavery, the hatred towards man and the person she thought as her mother being the one to put her through that.

And then there's Levi, he was stripped of all humanity to become a weapon and now he's on a journey to get it back.

I feel both characters are so morally gray, they were just sublime to read.

I can't wait for the next book, Ana really outdid herself in this one 👏 This one definitely made it to my Top 5 of 2021!
